Shweta Tripathi is an Indian actress who has appeared in many advertisements, TV series and films. Born in New Delhi, she resides in Andaman and Nicobar Islands for a while before relocating to Mumbai. She is best known for playing the role of Zenia Khan in the Disney Channel Original Series Kya Mast Hai Life. She made her film debut with Trishna, but she got attention only with the film Masaan for which she won Zee Cine Award for Best Supporting Actress. Later, she appeared in the critically acclaimed film Haramkhor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
She has also appeared in advertisements for brands such as Tata Sky, McDonald’s and Vodafone. She is currently working on many projects, including Illegal and Zoo, India’s first feature film completely shot on iPhone 6. She is also making her Tamil debut with a yet-untitled project to be directed by Saravanan Rajendran. The movies that made her today are Masaan starring Vickey Kaushal and Haraamkhor opposite Nawazudin Siddiqui. Recent movies done by Shweta are Raat Akeli Hai starring Nawaz and Radhika Apte.
