Arne Rudolf Ludvig Raab, better known as Arne Næss Jr., was a mountaineer, businessman, and shipping magnate from Norway. Arne Næss Jr. was the nephew of Norweigan philosophist Arne Dekke Eide Næss. Arne Næss Jr. started his career as a businessman in the genre of oil and shipping. He then made several investments in different business sectors. With trading and business, Arne was also interested in climbing mountains. He could leave everything behind for mountaineering. This ambition made Arne Næss Jr. breathe his last on the hills.
The mountaineer married Diana Ross, a popular singer in 1960s America. The personality led a team to climb Mount Everest.
