Tyler Steinkamp is famous as Tyler1 or T1 is a famous twitch streamer from America.  He is a very popular League of Legends personality available online. He has nearly 3.7 million followers on Twitch.  He was born on 7th March 1995.

He was banned from playing the game because of his behaviour towards fellow players. Because of this reason, he earned the name of “The Most Toxic Player in North America”. On Twitch, Tyler quickly became known for his toxic, over-the-top, tough-guy persona, which includes attacking others, encouraging players to commit suicide and purposely losing the game to damage his teammates. His popularity was a result of his toxic behaviour towards other players on the platform. He ended up personally attacking a lot of people and also instigated some players to commit suicide. This behaviour cost him a ban over 22 accounts. The ban was permanent over several unique accounts over several years.
• His stream grew immense popularity suddenly after his public declaration talking about a change in his behaviour. Although the change did not last, he saw a surge in his followers from 5,700 to 92,000. Even Riot games were criticized for encouraging his toxic behaviour by several popular people. These people claimed that his behaviour would encourage bad gaming behaviour among all the players.
• In April 2016, Riot Game finally decided to ban Tyler1’s account under the ground of verbal abuse and rogue behaviour. Even now, very few accounts have been banned in such a way by League of Legends.
• After the ban, T1 continues to grow his fan base by playing other games on his account. His stream was acknowledged by the media after “A Day in Life of Tyler1”. It was a 45 min action parody for April Fool’s Day on the green screen.
• In January 2018, he was unbanned by Riot Games and his first stream record-breaking viewers of 382,000. 
• Later he shared his story about being addicted to League of Legends during an angry rant. He also encouraged others to share his story. South Korean esports team designated Steinkamp as the content creator in October 2020.
