Who is Jason Garrett?

Jason Calvin Garrett, a former American football player and presently American football coach and the New York Giants’s offensive coordinator for NFL, was born on March 28, 1966. As a player, he has been two times Super Bowl  Champion. He has also been a coach, PFWA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2007 and NFL Coach of the Year in 2016.

Garrett, who played for or worked alongside five of his predecessors, became the first former Dallas Cowboys player to become the team’s head coach.

He started his college career at Princeton; he transferred to Columbia when his father became head coach and transferred to Princeton when his father resigned as coach. He was named Ivy League Player of the Year in 1988.

He previously served as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys during the 2010s. Before that, Garrett was the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach of the Cowboys before being promoted to interim head coach after the firing of Wade Phillips in late 2010.
