Neha Dhupia is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam language films. Dhupia was born in Kochi, India, to a Punjabi Sikh family. Dhupia made her acting debut in a play in New Delhi called Graffiti. Thereafter she appeared in a music video for Indipop band Euphoria and modelled for advertisement campaigns. In 2002, she entered the Femina Miss India pageant, finishing in the first place, winning the Femina Miss India Universe title. Dhupia made her screen debut in 1994 Malyalam film Minnaram.
Her Hindi film debut came in 2003 with Qayamat: City Under Threat. She subsequently starred in successful films, including Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005) and Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007, Chup Chup Ke(2006) and Singh is Kinng (2008).
Her father, named Pradip Singh Dhupia, worked in the Indian Army, and her mom, named Manpinder, is a housewife. Neha attended Navy Children School Kochi afterwards moved to Army Public School, New Delhi. She earned her graduate degree from Jesus & Mary College New Delhi, allied to Delhi University.
In addition to her film career, Dhupia is a winner of the Femina Miss India title (2002). She was signed for movies like Santa Banta, Moh Maya money, Hindi Medium featuring Irrfan Khan, Qarib Qarib Single starring Irrfan Khan, Tumhari Sulu featuring Divya Balan, Lust Stories, Helicopter Eela with Kajol Devgan, Devi.
