Kirti Kulhari is an Indian actress and model who appears in Bollywood films. Born in Jhunjhunu and Jaipur in Rajasthan, she was brought up in Mumbai. Her father, Khyali Ram Kulhari, is a retired Indian Navy Officer and her mother, Shravani Kulhari, is a housewife. She has two senior sisters and one more youthful sibling. One of her sister Kanchan Kulhari is a doctor in the Indian Army. Her family trusts in Hinduism and holds Indian Nationality.
After completing her post graduating with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Kulhari made her acting debut in Khichdi: The Movie in 2010, followed by a role in Shaitaan. But, her first breakthrough film came in 2016 with a social drama, PINK, which gave her special recognition and won her Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award 2017. In 2017, she appeared in the title role of Indu in Madhur Bhandarkar’s political thriller film Indu Sarkar.
She was inclined towards sports and extra-curricular activities since her school and college days. She was a badminton champion in her school and was very active in other sports also. During her college days, she got many offers for modelling, after which she decided to make her career in the Indian glamour and film industry.
Apart from her film career, she has been endorsing many brands frequently like ICICI Bank, Kaya Skin Clinique, Taj Mahal Tea, Everyuth Face Wash, Whirlpool Refrigerators. She will be seen in a dark comedy film, Raita, opposite Irrfan Khan. After the Pink movie, she was seen in many movies like in Cute Kameena in 2016, San’ 75 Pachattar in 2016, Indu Sarkar in 2017, Uri: the surgical strike in 2019, Blackmail in 2018, Mission Mangal in 2019.
She also has done web series on Amazon Prime Four More Shots Please! based on women’s life. She married Bollywood actor Saahil Sehgal in 2016.
