Gauri Khan is an Indian film producer and an interior designer. She was born on 8 October 1970 in New Delhi, India. She is a Hindu of Punjabi Mohyal origin, born in New Delhi, India. She graduated from Modern School, New Delhi, and has a degree in History from Lady Sriram College. She then married Shah Rukh Khan, who became one of the most prominent actors in the Bollywood film industry. She has produced some of the movies in which he is the leading actor, including Paheli, Main Hoon Na, and Shanti Om.

She also made a brief guest appearance in Om Shanti Om. She is also the co-owner of the production house and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment and her husband, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Khan has produced several successful films, including Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), My Name Is Khan (2010), Ra. One (2011), Chennai Express (2013), Happy New Year (2014), Dilwale and Raees. She has her interior store in Mumbai named Design Cell. As an interior designer, she has completed numerous projects, one of which is a commercial project of about 60,000 square foot private house. She had done this project in collaboration with actor Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan.

Gauri Khan co-produced the movie Zero, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma with Colour Yellow Productions. She also co-produced the film Badla in 2019 with Azure Entertainment. That movie starred Tapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachan.
