The Puerto Rican former professional boxer, Felix Verdejo, also known as El Diamante meaning the Diamond, represented his nation in the 2012 Olympics. He is active on social media and has 210 k followers on Instagram.

• Felix started boxing when he was just 9 years old and found his passion in it. He had his expertise in lightweights. His first fight was with the famous Lauro Alcantar. In 2012, he got his major success at the age of 19 by joining the Top Rank. In the successive year, he won the ‘New Hispanic Promise’ title and was titled as the Prospect of the Year by BoxingScene and Top Rank. While achieving massive success throughout the year 2014 making a record in his career, Felix was again Titled the Prospect of the Year in 2014 by ESPN. Com.
• While he achieved success, he took a break for a year and joined back in 2016. He again conquered the fight with Oliver Flores, a featherweight boxer, and earned the title of WBO Lightweight. There were numerous other wins against Bryan Vasquez, Masayoshi Nakatani, etc. 
• It was his motorcycle accident that led to a pause in his boxing career. He was severely injured and took time to recover completely. After a few months, he got stuck with the charge of murder of his rumored girlfriend who was pregnant with his child. He surrendered to the Puerto Rico police.
